Sound Healing Journey | Boerne Fundraiser

  • Boerne Community Theatre 907 East Blanco Road Boerne, TX, 78006 United States (map)

Do you experience stress?

Do you feel as though you don't get enough rest?

Do you wish you could quiet your mind and let go of the outside world for a bit?

Then, please join us for our special SOUND HEALING MEDITATION to learn new tools to support you in experiencing all of the above!

This session is COMPLIMENTARY for the COMMUNITY and is also an invitation to learn more about our non-profit THE ADARA COLLECTIVE and the work that Jessica Neideffer is doing with incarcerated communities, veterans, and at-risk / incarcerated youth.

This fundraising event is an opportunity to support the offering of sound healing and self-awareness classes inside our prison facilities and share tools to support people as they prepare to return to their communities.

These classes share tools that support healing, self-regulation, accountability, self-awareness, confidence, and the creation of healthy new habits. The skills learned in these classes help those re-entering society to build new communities, share their new skills with their families and friends, and create safer neighborhoods.

Group and individual sound healing meditations work with intention, breath and sound to encourage the body, mind and energy of a person to consider a more harmonious state. When we work with sound, we are able to connect in a non-verbal way to create a space for reflection and open expression. Some of the benefits of sound healing meditations include a reduction of stress, anxiety and depression. We are able to invite increased focus, creativity, and a different perspective with sound. We are able to allow the body and mind to experience deep rest and relaxation. It is also possible for individuals to release physical pain and discomfort from the body during a session.

PLEASE BRING A YOGA MAT, BLANKET, AND PILLOW to make sure you are as comfortable as possible for your meditation of relaxation and rest.

WE WILL HOLD THE SESSION IN THE CLASSROOM BEHIND THE THEATRE.
